The school day…
The children are welcomed into school at either 8.50am (Key-Stage 2) or 8.55am (Key-Stage 1). Pupils need to arrive at school promptly for the start of the day. Any child brought into school after 9.00am will be registered by staff in the office. Children are taught phonics, reading, English and maths in the mornings, with a 15 minute playtime and lunchtime from 12-1pm. In the afternoons, children are taught a wide range of foundation subjects, followed by daily collective worship delivered by staff members, our local vicar or the children themselves. The school day ends at 3.10pm (KS1) or 3.15pm (KS2).
