We prioritise the well-being, both physical and mental of all the children at our school, and aim to nurture healthy, happy pupils. However there are times when everyone’s mental wellbeing can take a dip. Through our PSHE lessons, regular collective worship and the Zones of Regulation curriculum we support our pupils to recognise when they are struggling and to develop strategies for self-regulation.
There may be times when more help is needed and if you have concerns about your child, you are invited to contact your child’s teacher to discuss these as soon as possible. If we all feel that more help is needed, Mrs. Hand and Mrs. Smith are our school’s trained Mental Health Leads. They are able to offer support and guidance to pupils and parents and may be able to signpost you to services you could access if you are concerned about your child’s mental health.
