This year we asked our families to help support the Stevenage Food Bank, by filling a shoe-box with either dry/tinned/packet foods, toiletries or baby products. We were overwhelmed with the generosity of our families and proud to be able to pass our collection to the Food Bank.
We have also made and distributed harvest keyrings to spread harvest prayers and greetings to our neighbours in the village.
Last Tuesday we dressed in grey to raise money for the Brain trust – a wonderful charity that helps people (and their friends and family) who are diagnosed with brain tumours. Well done to everyone at school for making an excellent start to the new term! Things may be a bit different right now, but we’re so proud of the way everyone has pulled together and adapted to school life.
Friday 24th February
Some great adventures and mucky learning done today by all. Bubble making, pond dipping, weather windmills and the beginnings of a river system constructed. Soggy but fun!
